General:
Must have 24 months driving experience in either local, over the road, or
regional within the last 5 years. Fifty percent of the driving experience
must be in the same or similar environment as the job applied for. (Mountain
driving, type of equipment, length of equipment, previous job duties etc,
will be considered in the selection process)
Pass an extensive road test.
Valid CDL license in state you reside.
Clean, well-groomed, professional appearance.
No misleading or incorrect information on the application. Incomplete application
will not be considered.
Provide proper documents for Employment Eligibility Verification. (I-9 Form)
Driving Record:
No more than 3 moving violations within last 5 years, no more than 1 moving
violation within the last year.
No moving violations in excess of 14 miles per hour in last (3) years.
No Refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test within last 7 years, no more
than one ever.
No DUI/or Careless-Reckless conviction within last (7) years, no more than
one ever, none ever in a commercial vehicle.
No license suspensions for moving violation within the last (3) years. No
more than (1) license suspension ever for a moving violation.
No more than 2 preventable accidents within past five years. None within
the last year.
No more than 1 careless driving conviction in the last 3 years, all must
be explained.
No More than 5 non-moving violations in the last 2 years. (Equipment, lights,
brakes, overweight, oversize, logbook, seat belt etc.)
Criminal History:
No felonies (All Felonies including Hit and Run with fatality, Homicide
or death by vehicle)
No Misdemeanor involving a motor vehicle. (Manslaughter with vehicle, Hit
and Run, False report to police department etc.)
No convictions for possessions, sale, or use of drugs
Physical History:
Must be able to pass physical requirements to obtain a 1-year physical as
specified by the Department of Transportation.
Must be able to meet drug screen requirements.
